Harvard Glacier
At each glacier stop along our cruise, the ship lingered for quite some time while we all waited for the glacier to calve (ice chunks falling). It was like waiting for grass to grow but when it happened, it was mighty impressive. Glacial calving is a hard thing to get on film. This spot on the glacier was pretty active, so we got good video and this one still shot as some ice fell. Note the Harbor Seals lounging on the ice in the foreground.
