This panorama was taken next to Booth Creek along the trail at about 10,500 feet on June 3. From this point on, snow cover is extensive at this time of year and the hike is on snow more than it is on dry ground. Ordinarily one could become lost in such circumstances, but the topography of this narrow valley leads you directly to Booth Lake as long as you proceed on the path of least resistance. This panorama falls short of the usual 360°.
