| Buck Canyon is in the center of the photo. At the far end of the canyon is the Colorado River but it can't be seen from here. In the distance is the La Sal Mountain Range surrounded by clouds.
There are views in the distance of three mountain ranges from the Island in the Sky; the La Sals, east; the Abajos, south; and the Henrys, west. Weather and occasional smog can affect your ability to see them but on most days the views are wonderful. |
