This panorama was shot at a spot along the Syncline Loop Trail where the Upheaval Canyon, Syncline Valley and Upheaval Dome Crater all come together. The sign you can see points the way up a side trail toward the crater. Syncline Loop is a somewhat difficult 8.3 mile trail that surrounds Upheaval Dome.
