This panorama was shot at the 11,400 foot level in Flat Tops Wilderness. Ron and I parked at Stillwater Reservoir and followed trail #1119 which climbs to Devils Causeway. We turned north near the Causeway and hiked across one of the flat tops to Mandall Pass. This flat topped mountain is about a mile wide and four miles long so it really feels like wide open spaces, with big sky all around and not a tree in sight. It took us a little over two hours and four miles to get from trail #1119 to the Mandall Pass Trail #1121, on which we descended to Yampa Reservoir where we had parked a second car. Round trip was about 12 miles in seven hours.
