Here's a view from the parkway portion of the Highlands Scenic Highway. The parkway is a 23 mile section that starts at the Cranberry Mountain Visitor Center and ends near the town of Slatyfork. 60 percent of the parkway is above 4000 feet making it the highest major roadway in West Virginia. Much of the parkway follows the ridge line you see stretched out here. Be sure to scroll back and forth to see the entire photo.
