I-70 in Glenwood Canyon
The Colorado River cut through the White River Plateau to form Glenwood Canyon, which is about 12 miles long. One of the canyon's dominating features these days, besides the river and the steep canyon walls, is I-70 and its many miles of bridges, completed in 1992.
