I don't think I've ever seen so many people on a 14,000 foot mountain, except maybe Mount Elbert which is Colorado's highest and therefore very popular. This picture shows the route between Grays and Torreys. There's not enough detail to see them all, but there are at least 100 people in view. The ones standing on the snow are easy to spot. I was here August 6, a Saturday. If you don't like crowds, I suggest you try to climb on a weekday.
