The aspen trees began turning green this week with the unusually high temperatures. It was above 80°F Thursday and Friday, very warm for early May at 8000 feet. It could just as easily be snowing at this time of year. This photo of the Gore Range was taken Saturday from the hillside above I-70 near the Vail golf course.
