Forest and brush fires in many western states recently have created smoky hazy conditions in this part of Colorado. There has been no point in trying to shoot scenic photos this past week. This one was taken two weeks ago along the Pitkin Creek trail in the Eagles Nest Wilderness. Even then, before the worst of the fires, you could see the haze when looking at the mountains in the distance.
