Here at 10,700 feet on June 3 along Booth Creek there is still quite a bit of snow. In the summer, this is a lush wetland area. It's level here and the swollen creek waters a wide area. It will only be a couple of weeks before all the snow in this area is gone and plants begin to thrive in the wetlands.
