Along the Deluge Creek trail, approaching Deluge Lake at about 11,300 feet, these two small creeks, Deluge Creek which begins at the lake and another unnamed stream join. Three thousand feet below, after merging with countless other unnamed streams carrying water from melting snow, Deluge Creek is a raging torrent in May, June and July where it merges with Gore Creek in East Vail.
