This panorama was captured in the Eagles Nest Wilderness along the Gore Creek Trail near East Vail, Colorado in mid November. After a good bit of autumn snowfall and cold weather it is definitely looking like winter. This is a popular route for snowshoers; so popular in fact that the trail is typically packed down quickly so that you don't even need snowshoes.
