As the panorama begins to load, you're looking west at Mount Bross, Mount Lincoln, North Star Mountain and Quandary Peak; three of which exceed 14,000 feet in height. The panorama was taken from the 12,800 foot level on Hoosier Ridge. This ridge is part of the Continental Divide which also divides Summit and Park Counties of Colorado. As you spin right and look north you can see the Blue River Valley of Breckenridge. Dillon Reservoir is barely visible in the distance. Northeast, Hoosier Ridge continues for a few miles at or above 13,000 feet. Southeast is Mount Silverheels at 13,822 feet and to the south is the South Platte River Valley of Alma and Fairplay. The panorama was shot on December 23 and while we've had ample snow in the high country so far this year; wind-swept Hoosier Ridge hasn't collected much of it.
