Here at the end of the Lyle Lake Trail in Holy Cross Wilderness is Mormon Lake. It sits at just over 11,400 feet, surrounded by several 12,000 foot peaks. The Lyle Lake trailhead is on Hagerman Pass Road, about 20 miles west of Leadville or 40 miles east of Basalt, Colorado. Please click here for the 360° view from Lyle Lake.
