Mt. Guyot and Bald Mountain are at upper right. The Town of Breckenridge is at center. The ski terrain at Breckenridge gets progressively steeper the higher you go on its mountains. This picture shows the top of Imperial Express Lift at 12,840 feet. It accesses the highest lift-served ski terrain in North America, including Imperial Bowl (below right) on Peak 8 and the upper portion of Peak 7. It's a short but difficult walk from the top of the chair to the summit here at 12,998 feet where you have access to additional expert terrain off the south ridge of Peak 8.
