I got started early, at first daylight. The temperature was perfect at 60°F with mostly clear skies. There is a short dip at the beginning of the trail and the resulting climb is done in about a half hour. After that, the trail is very moderate. I reached this point in an hour as the early sun was just beginning to shine on the ground and surrounding rock formations.
