Six miles down the Shafer Trail (White Rim Road) from the Island in the Sky there's a short foot trail that leads here to the Gooseneck Overlook above the Colorado River. The road you see on the cliff above the river is the Potash Road to Moab. High above it is Dead Horse Point Overlook.
