I saw only two other hikers on the trail. This day was as hot as I've experienced hiking in the desert of Utah. It was about 85°F which is not normally considered very hot but the sun was relentless and the air was dry. I carried a gallon of water and drank every drop. There's no way I could do the same hike in the summer. This photo shows the slot in the canyon wall that's the route home. I was back to my car by 3:30 wishing I'd chosen a cooler day but happy I made the trip. I hope you enjoyed the tour. Please click to send email if you have comments or questions.
