After giving up on my destination and turning back, dark clouds started moving in and I heard thunder in the distance. Perhaps shortening my hike kept me from getting rained on. It's disappointing to fail to reach a goal, but there's always another day. That other day begins with the next photo on a hike to Missouri Lakes and beyond. Stick around!
