Missouri Lakes is a collection of four lakes and several smaller ponds near the center of Holy Cross Wilderness. The main trail passes alongside three of the lakes. The forth lake, just below the others requires a short side trip to be seen. I didn't see it, except on the map. I reached this first lake at 11,400 feet by 11:40, two hours from the trailhead.
