I took this shot of the Mosquito Range and South Platte River Valley looking southwest as we headed off the ridge. On the lower, less-windy portion of Hoosier Ridge there was enough snow for skiing. You can see the nordic ski trail below. It was a nearly cloudless day but we managed to spot just a few.
