| Hikers can reach Meridian Peak via Elliott Ridge. A few miles north of Green Mountain Reservoir, Spring Creek Road leads to the trailhead near Blue Lake at about 11,100 feet. The views from Elliott Ridge are great as you gradually climb south five miles to Meridian Peak. Visible from here at the 12,390 foot summit are Green Mountain Reservoir, Eagles Nest, Mount Powell, Vail Mountain, Mount of the Holy Cross and Mount Jackson. |
