North Tenmile Creek Trail climbs very moderately in three miles from 9200 feet to 10,100 feet. The trail is surrounded by evergreen forest with very few aspen trees except at the very beginning of the trail. There are occasional views of North Tenmile Creek alongside the trail. At just over 10,100 feet North Tenmile Creek Trail ends where it intersects with Gore Range Trail running north and south. Turning left, or south, the trail crosses the creek and leads to Uneva Pass. This photo was taken at a small clearing a mile or so beyond the creek crossing.
