It's always fun reaching the top of a pass for your first view over the other side. It took me about four hours to get here. Looking south from 11,920 foot Uneva Pass you see a great view of Tenmile Range and Copper Mountain ski resort along with Wheeler Lakes (barely visable) above Officers Gulch. One could continue south on Gore Range Trail to a trailhead near Copper Mountain. I chose to climb a little higher for an even better view.
