The intent was to climb to the top of Angels Landing to shoot my panorama. Unfortunately vertigo set in along the ridge on the approach and the attempt on the summit was abandoned. So I set up the tripod to capture this image showing the ridge approach (left of the big tree) and portions of Zion Canyon. There were dozens of other climbers going by me in each direction, seemingly unaware of the long drop on both sides of the ridge. Perhaps the safety chains mounted to the rock to hold onto provided them with a sense of security. I didn't get the same sense.
