This photo of Dillon Reservoir, Buffalo Mountain and Red Peak was taken from the bike trail which nearly surrounds the lake. I read in a blog post recently that the mountain pine beetle infestation has ruined the views here in Summit County, Colorado. That's just a matter of opinion. Pine beetles are killing most of the lodgepole pine in Colorado, but the mountain views are still nice.
