Here's express chairlift 36; the ridge lift in Blue Sky Basin at Vail. In the distance is Mount of the Holy Cross and Mount Jackson. This ridge run known as "The Divide" gets swept by a lot of wind. That is why you can see exposed rock and grass in the foreground. Snow coverage on the other runs in the basin was very good and in the two weeks since this photo was taken, nearly three feet of snow has fallen, covering up these rocks for the rest of the season, I'm sure.
