This picture was taken from the top of the Sugarloaf lift at Alta Ski Area, looking toward the summit of Hidden Peak at Snowbird, the top of Snowbird's tram and Mineral Basin express chairlift. There is little doubt that these two resorts would be interconnected, were they not under separate ownership. (Update: More recently, they are.) As it is, it's easy to ski from Alta to Snowbird (beyond the signs at the bottom of this photo).
