How quickly things change! Last week I showed the "greening up" in the high country, commenting on how unusually warm it was. 36 hours later there is a good bit of fresh snow in the mountains above 10,000 feet. It rained on the valley floor, but above, it was cold enough to snow. This shot of the Gore Range was taken from the ninth tee of the Vail Golf Course last Monday morning.
