Here's a spot that's easily accessed from the top of Loveland Pass. Hike east toward the obvious high ridge. About halfway to the ridge, a rock cairn marks a trail which traverses southeast toward Grizzly Peak. The trail reaches a saddle on the ridge at 12,714 feet and from there it's a short walk south on the ridge to here at 13,117. Nearby are Torreys Peak and Grizzly Peak. Sometimes hiking in poor weather can result in dramatic photos; particularly if some of the clouds are below you. |
