August 31, there was fresh snow on the high peaks. Summer is almost over. When this image begins to load you're looking south at Mt. Bross, Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Democrat. Spinning west you can see Mt. Arkansas and Traver Peak. To the north, Quandary Peak dominates the view. To the east is Hoosier Ridge and Mt. Silverheels. The panorama was shot at the top of 13,420 foot North Star Peak, on the Continental Divide above Hoosier Pass, south of Breckenridge, Colorado. |
