This and the next several photos are views from the area served by Stairway to Heaven around Crystal Bowl. The town of Golden can be seen in the valley below. The mountains in the background are the Canadian Rockies, while Kicking Horse Resort is in the Purcell Mountains on the opposite side of the Columbia River.
