This panorama was captured at the 12,136 foot summit of Bald Mountain, near Vail, Colorado. It's not easy to get here since there's no hiking trail. Hikers can climb Spraddle Creek Road and work their way around the eastern shoulder of the mountain; or climb the ridge above Middle Creek Trali and approach from the west. By any route, there's a lot of bushwhacking and scrambling to get to the summit of Bald Mountain. |
