Denver International Airport opened in February, 1995. Built at a cost of some three billion dollars, it is arguably one of the nicest, most modern airports in the world. This panorama was shot in the Jeppesen Terminal Building which, inside and out, looks more like a big tent than a building. More than 100,000 passengers (average) travel through DIA each day. The water fountain called Mountain Mirage was operated for about 10 years but is now a thing of the past. |
