| August 31, there was fresh snow on the high peaks. Summer was almost over. The panorama was shot at the top of 13,420 foot North Star Mountain, on the Continental Divide above Hoosier Pass, south of Breckenridge, Colorado. North Star is right in between two fourteeners; Mount Lincoln and Quandary Peak, so it has commanding views of both. |
