The intent was to climb to the top of Angels Landing to shoot my panorama. Unfortunately I got a taste of vertigo along the ridge on the approach and I decided it would be better not to attempt the summit. So, I set up the tripod to capture this image showing the ridge approach (left of and behind the big tree) and portions of Zion Canyon. There were dozens of other climbers going by me in each direction, seemingly unaware of the 1500 foot drop on each side of the ridge they were climbing. Perhaps the chains mounted in the rock to hang onto provided them with a sense of safety. I didn't get the same sense.
