Harvard Glacier
This photo shows the western half of the face of Harvard Glacier. The face is about a mile and a half wide and 300 feet high (at least that's what we were told). As we moved closer to the glacier, within 1500 feet, it was hard to believe that it was as high as a 20 story building but my perception of scale was difficult with so much water and the surrounding mountains. This shot was taken around 8:00 a.m. Click here to view a 290° panorama of Harvard Glacier from Spirit of Columbia.
