We camped here at a pullout along the road on Salt Creek Mesa overlooking Salt Creek Canyon, shown here. There are several such pullouts along Beef Basin Road but there are no designated campgrounds. For 18 hours or so while we were there, a wind storm was stirring up a lot of dust, spoiling some of the views into the distance.
