I decided to go check out Bobby's Hole for myself, on foot, to see if the information I had was correct. There are two steep rocky sections on the approach to Bobby's Hole from the east. While my vehicle could probably get down them, it would never get back up. Along this section, someone has buried what looks like old tractor tires in the road; probably to prevent erosion, provide traction or both. I wouldn't recommend anyone attempt to climb out of Bobby's Hole without a Jeep Wrangler or similarly equipped vehicle.
