Here's a view of Holy Cross and Mount Jackson. On the right is a small shack which can be used for emergency shelter built here near Deluge Lake several years ago. I don't know anything about it but I assume the shack was built on a private inholding within the Eagles Nest Wilderness; likely an old mining claim. It appears to be private and not owned by the forest service.
