Located in the Eagles Nest Wilderness (also known as the Gore Range) 11,700 foot Deluge Lake is about four miles or three to four hours hiking time from East Vail, Colorado. The hike is one of the most strenuous out of the Vail area. Deluge Lake Trail climbs steeply to about the halfway point, then levels some before climbing again on the approach to the lake.
