Mt. Sherman is at the southern end of the Mosquito Range between Leadville and Fairplay, Colorado. It is the 45th highest mountain in Colorado at 14,036 feet. I climbed it on September 15, shortly after the first snowfall of the season. I delayed my planned climb one day waiting for much of the snow to melt, making for a much less slippery hike. I was glad I did. For the full tour please click the top left thumbnail then the right arrow on each page. |
