When I think of Steamboat Resort, I think of deep powder and tree skiing. It's not like there aren't other attractions at the resort. There is a neat old-western style town, Steamboat Springs, near the ski mountain. There are nice views of the surrounding mountains. But it is the frequent deep snows and the great aspen gladed ski runs that impress me most.
